I'm a senior "dog mom" and saw a local news story of over 200 puppy mill dogs being relocated to a rescue center about a 1/2 hour drive from me. Did a little research and found out ARC was sheltering the animals. Went to their website and signed up to be a volunteer. The staff and volunteers are wonderful, caring animal lovers who do what they can for these traumatized animals and try to show them that not all humans are heartless and uncaring.
