I am a former Lifer who has been out of prison now for about 22 months after 26 years in prison. During these 22 months time I have had the privilege to be a former incarcerated/ returning citizen that has benefited from Dignity and Power Now, Mutual Aid. The funds that I was given has been a tremendous help to not only myself but also to my family. I used the funds to help pay rent and support my family during difficult times (family deaths). Without organization like Dignity and Power Now, Mutual Aid I would not have been able to assist my family during this time of need. My family and myself are very grateful to Dignity and Power Now, Mutual Aid for their great heart and generosity.
