Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in an educational trip to Washington, D.C., courtesy of the Insight through Education grant. This grant was instrumental in expanding my knowledge and understanding of African American and Holocaust education, providing me with a profoundly enriching experience.

While at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, I walked through vivid exhibits illustrating the struggles, achievements, and contributions of African Americans throughout history. From the powerful artifacts to the engaging narratives, every corner of the museum resonated with profound historical significance.

Equally impactful was our exploration of Holocaust education at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The museum's exhibits offered a sobering reminder of the atrocities committed during one of humanity's darkest periods.
