As a volunteer this is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Every animal rescued is loved and will live their best life at FANS! It would be impossible without Dave and Lisa, the volunteers and the generous donations!

I started volunteering here last October. I have learned so much and am grateful they exist. For me being with the animals is extremely therapeutic. I've cried tears of joy (when Skittles let me pet her) and tears of sadness (when we've had to let an animal cross over the rainbow bridge). If FANS didn't exist these abused animals would have no place to live the rest of their lives peacefully.
