My name is Carmen Brown. I am 29 years old, and I have 4 beautiful children. We were living with a roommate, but she had to break the lease to go take care of her mother (who had cancer), We ended up moving into the Motel to Home program. This program gave us a stable place for my babies and me to live.
It also gave my babies a place to play and eat home cooked meals. I am currently in the Community Restoration Project's Permanent Supportive Housing program and definitely working my short-term goals. They include starting my own business and going back to college. My long-term goal is owning my own home someday and thankfully CPR offers programs that help me with that goal.
