My name is Carmen Brown. I am 29 years old, and I have 4 beautiful children. We were living with a roommate, but she had to break the lease to go take care of her mother (who had cancer), We ended up moving into the Motel to Home program. This program gave us a stable place for my babies and me to live.
It also gave my babies a place to play and eat home cooked meals. I am currently in the Community Restoration Project's Permanent Supportive Housing program and definitely working my short-term goals. They include starting my own business and going back to college. My long-term goal is owning my own home someday and thankfully CPR offers programs that help me with that goal.

I am a single grandmother raising my 2 grandkids since 2017. I originally was in the Motel to Home program after losing my job and using up all my savings surviving and providing for my grandkids. Since being placed in the Community Restoration Supportive Housing (CRP) program we can go to bed without worrying at night. My long-term goal is to eventually be able to purchase my own home. Being a participant the CRP Permanent Supportive housing program helps position me to acquire possible assistance with reaching this long-term goal eventually.

I was originally placed in the Motel to Home program following a drive by shooting at my previous apartment where bullets actually hit me and my 7-month-old child. What kept me going through this rough time was my faith in God. We have since moved into the Community Restorations' Permanant Supportive Housing program and are very happy to be in this safe environment. My goals in my new housing are to finish school and go into the field of Phlebotomy. I am hoping to be financially stable enough to keep my kids into sports and activities to make sure they grow up to be strong black men. The Community Restoration Program has an array of services s to assist me with these goals.

My name is Zhane Webster. I was homeless due to being in a toxic relationship. I connected with Community Restoration Project and placed in their Motel to Home program with my son. Not long after that I was moved into their Permanent Supportive Housing program. Being in the Permanent Supportive Housing program provided me and my son with stability and safeness. I am to be in a stable environment. I am now able to work on two of my long-term goals of finishing my nursing degree and eventually buy a house.

My name is Domanek Harrison, and I moved from Albany, New York to Atlanta, Georgia with my 4 children in November of last year. I had applied for housing in Georgia prior to moving from New York and upon arriving was told by the landlord that she was not willing to wait until the first of the month for the deposit and she moved on to another tenant. We were originally homeless until the Community Restoration Project placed us in their "Motel to Home" program and eventually into their "Permanent Supportive Housing" program. Since moving into the housing program, I have noticed my children's grades have improved. I am also able to work on one of my long-term goals of returning to school and eventually hope to be able to purchase a vehicle. The Community Restoration Project has allowed me to thrive, and they were extremely helpful in helping me to stay in a safe and affordable environment with my children. I strongly recommend CRP to anyone who is experiencing homelessness in any form. They were a blessing to me and my family.

As a fundraising coach for this nonprofit organization, I am impressed with the rate of growth in the volume of resources identified and secured to support the expanding schedule of programs. This nonprofit is filling a void in the region's range of available services and its responsiveness positions it to continue to thrive as a thoughtful partner in the delivery of meaningful human services.

Alonzo Curtis,
This man was previously homeless after losing his mother a year ago. He was contacted by the Community Restoration Project and after 5 days he was admitted into the Permanent Housing Program. He is a prime example of how resilience and determination can increase ones ability to be self-sufficient and independent.
