I was originally placed in the Motel to Home program following a drive by shooting at my previous apartment where bullets actually hit me and my 7-month-old child. What kept me going through this rough time was my faith in God. We have since moved into the Community Restorations' Permanant Supportive Housing program and are very happy to be in this safe environment. My goals in my new housing are to finish school and go into the field of Phlebotomy. I am hoping to be financially stable enough to keep my kids into sports and activities to make sure they grow up to be strong black men. The Community Restoration Program has an array of services s to assist me with these goals.
