I have known Karen Menzer, founder and director of Animal-Kind International, for almost ten years. Her dedication to animal welfare around the world, especially Africa, is a constant inspiration to myself and others. She is a non-stop energy in her mission to save needy animals and fund the people helping to save them. She was instrumental in keeping Helping Hands for Hounds of Honduras afloat and operational rescuing, sterilizing and finding homes for abandoned dogs while educating the local population about humane treatment of pets. I highly recommend AKI for their total commitment to their mission.
