I first became acquainted with CNEER when my mare passed away; her stablemate was very, very sad; the two of them had been together for a very long time. Vicky expressed "deep compassion" for my loss and for my gelding's loss as well. She just so happened to have on the farm a beautiful little mare who of course came to live in my barn. Vicky made a difficult experience easier for me. She was so kind and she genuinely cared for both myself and my gelding. As well, she was happy for Aladida to have a good home to go to where she is loved and happy. I am grateful to Vicky, Betsey and all of the people who are involved with the rescue.
