NeedyMeds is a fantastic organization and very deserving of support. Information is readily available regarding where each of us stand with the federal low income guidelines. I have used NeedyMeds information to assist me with applications for Patient Assistance programs successfully twice. I recently had difficulty finding a place to turn in my used insulin syringes in a sharps container. I asked blindly online and Leah from NeedyMeds promptly responded. Leah listed two places to request free sharps containers and who to ask for mailing labels to ship the filled containers without cost to an organization that disposes of them safely.
