My experience as a JCA 50+ Career Gateway participant and Alumni has been remarkable. The experience is filled with progressive career seeking moments and methods to accelerate a positive outcome for 50+ career candidates. The professionalism and engagement skills presented by Jodie Rasch and Dr. Barnes within the scope of their respective expertise’s are phenomenal! A Kudos is in order for the delivery of meticulous course preparation materials. Participants are equipped with materials and resources to cultivate a practical next level experience. The guest recruiters, volunteers and participants interacted with our group with such good will and grace making the environment an open and seamless passage for constructive feedback and critical thinking for advancement. The allocation of time on the agenda is managed well and the activities are pleasantly organized, detailed and relatable. JCA a “breath of fresh air” for those in need of adequate resources, tools and moral support to deploy an effective and efficient career search. Career gateway program is a quality offering to blend career seekers and community. As an alumni, my vote of confidence is that the program will continue to flourish over time providing the best career support for the 50+ cohort in Montgomery County Maryland and Northern Virginia.
