Last year, after resigning from a job due to workplace bullying and misaligned values, I felt uncertain about my future, especially considering the challenge of finding employment at my age. A friend recommended I attend the Jewish Council for the Aging of Greater Washington, Inc.'s (JCA) Employment Expos for job seekers over fifty. Skeptical at first, I soon found immense value in attending JCA's employment Expos. This led to me learning about other exceptional resources like their Career Gateway Program, which I attended last April, 2023. Thanks to JCA's unwavering support, multiple resources and expert guidance, I have successfully prepared for and secured a new job. JCA’s resources have been crucial in shaping my new career path. I highly recommend their services to any job seeker over 50 years old. It is invaluable!
