I volunteer at Palmetto Animal League's shelter in the cat care division. At first I thought I would want to take home all the cats/kittens that were there - but looking at how the staff and the volunteers treat the animals looking for homes is exemplary. They are kind, considerate and professional. The Cats are very well taken care of. Any concerns as a volunteer we have on a cats health is addressed immediately and if necessary, taken care of. Their house cats roam the halls, as do the warehouse and outside cats... all are given attention and love. It's a great place to volunteer and if you're looking to adopt... this is the place to do it. (ps... I held out for six months before I brought home a cat to her forever home!)
