PAL is my happy place! Animals are my passion! Working with the staff is always a wonderful experience. I have been a part of this no-kill organization from the beginning and seeing it grow each year is a blessing to my heart. It has given me the opportunity to also lead an ANIMAL WELFARE CLUB at May River High School, giving kids the chance to get involved with lives that are worth saving!

I am a volunteer dog walker at Palmetto Animal League. This great organization is not only a no kill shelter, but the dogs they rescue have a behaviorist who works with them to be sure they are successfully adopted. Puppies are socialized by trained volunteers, dogs go on outings off premises as often as possible, even for beach walks, and are walked on site everyday. They provide a low cost clinic for the community as well. This is an exemplary example of people working hard to help dogs and cats find forever homes!

Palmetto Animal League is a very special place where the animals are nurtured, loved, and assisted while they find them furever homes. This is a no kill shelter. When I first walked in I knew I would volunteer and became one of many dog walkers trained by their behaviorist. The staff even arranges weekend outings where we walk all the shelter dogs at a local beach or park to keep them happy and healthy. How cool is that?!

We regularly donate our time to volunteer at Palmetto Animal League. Seeing the smiles on the faces of our community members who adopt a cat or dog is priceless. The location is very well maintained and managed.

I love love love Palmetto Animal League! Talk about an organization that loves animals! The facility itself is up-to-date, clean, and geared towards the comfort and safety of animals. The staff and their volunteers are great. I use to be a dog walker for them (when my schedule permitted it) and they took time training me, not just for my benefit, but for the benefit of the animals. They take in so many animals, offering them medical care, attention, and love, and ensure that these dogs and cats go to great homes.

They also do so many community events for pet adoptions and community awareness. Definitely a great cause and an asset to our community!
