Assistance League of the Eastside has been an amazing and critical partner for The Lake Washington School District. They are dedicated to ensuring all families in need have the resources to purchase clothing, school supplies, medicine, and other essential items for their children.

As a result, our underserved students are able to pick out their own clothing and school supplies that reflect their budding identities. Being prepared for school and not feeling different than their peers due to their family's SES is an important protective factor for identity development and empowerment.
