My journey with the Quality Life Center began at the tender age of 11 and has spanned over two decades. This institution has been instrumental in shaping the person I am today, teaching me the essence of respect, business acumen, martial arts, and the core values of grit and determination. One of the invaluable lessons was learning business fundamentals through selling water on street corners to our local community. This hands-on experience was not just about making sales; it taught us to count money, understand the difference between net profit and gross profit, and it illuminated the boundless opportunities available for those creative and attentive to community needs.

Additionally, QLC broadened our horizons by introducing us to local leaders, from city council members to police officers. These interactions taught us lessons that have been invaluable in my life and, I know, in the lives of others.
