New Day Foundation was a blessing to our family during a most volatile time in my husband's health journey. My husband was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2022 and has undergone countless rounds of chemo, a bone marrow transplant that was non curative, a clinical trial study, and most recently another round of more aggressive chemo. This has impacted his ability to work, and after taking an extended leave from my job to be a caregiver, I eventually had to resign to tend to his medical needs and appointments. During his most recent extended stay in the hospital, the medical Social Worker recommended New Day Foundation for financial assistance. Cheryl was very compassionate and helpful to advocate for our family. We were able to get help to cover one month's mortgage payment which is our biggest expense. We are so grateful for what the foundation does to provide financial relief for families going through life's toughest battles with cancer.

I was diagnosed with having AML on May 5th, 2023, and recently underwent having a bone marrow transplant on January 2nd, 2024. I can't stress enough how financially life changing having such expected health issues can/will cause to a family. I'm living truth of it. Me and my entire family are grateful to Angels of Hope for how they were a blessing to us.

Since my diagnosis back in May of 2023 I haven't been able to return to work. Though I received some short-term disability from work, it was very difficult to make ends meet. And running through that short-term help, it has been all the more challenging making ends meet.

I can't thank Angels of Hope enough for the true blessing they have been to us. There's a chapter in the book of Lamentations that warns us to not assume that when life is going well, that it will always stay that way. We must be careful not to glory in our prosperity or we will fall into spiritual poverty. Once again, I thank you Angels of Hope for your generosity.
