So grateful to Angels of Hope for helping my nephew " Batman" Danny to beat cancer! They helped my sister with paying her bills while she was caring for her son. Thank you Angels of Hope for all you do for families dealing with cancer
Angels of Hope is an amazing charity. It offers real life impact with almost no overhead and is run by an impeccable group.
When my granddaughter, Nicole, was suffering with Leukemia Angels of Hope was there. Her mother had to quit work so only Dad's money wss available. Angels of Hope helped with their mortgage gas and electric. They chose them for Christmas presents, had a party with gifts at one if their houses plus sent gifts "from Santa" home for the next day. They are wonderful, caring, generous people.
Angels of Hope is a very special organization to my entire family. They go above and beyond to ensure that families are comfortable and can rest easy knowing they have a support system. I also like that they share how the money donated has made a difference. I feel it is important to know how your donations are having the positive impact you want them to and Angels of Hope does an excellent job of communicating that.
Truly such an amazing group of people who really care! I hate that we ever even had to contact someone for help but they were there! So kind, so accommodating, so thoughtful. Such a compassionate organization that truly makes a difference in the lives of families dealing with a cancer diagnosis and everything that comes with it! Unfortunately my little sister passed away but thanks to Angels of Hope the funeral cost was not an additional burden we had to deal with. The appreciation we have for Angels of Hope can't be described in words.
Angles of Hope helped our family when our 17 year old son was fighting brain cancer. I had to work part time while taking our son back and forth to the hospital. One day while paying bills I noticed our funds were getting low. My girlfriend told me about AOH. I put my pride aside and called them. They did not make us feel bad about our financial situation, they just Helped! They made our mortgage payments and car payments. This helped us on so many levels. They are more then just a Non-Profit, they are my family. Our son is now 21 and has been cancer free for 4 years.
I have a 18 year old son that was diagnosed with a Germinoma Brain Tumor in January 2014. At first I thought Harper Hospital and Children's Hospital of Detroit were our Angels, but then a friend of mine told me about Angels of Hope. For many months out of pride we did not reach out to any foundations, but one day I thought why not. Steve has been a huge comfort to my family. My family is so grateful for the generous gift of money Angels of Hope gave us. It has allowed me to take time off work to be with my son and not have to worry about money. When we went to the Tigers game last week, we immediately felt like family. My son can not wait to one day give back to such a wonderful foundation.
Angels of Hope helped my family with funeral expenses when my Sister in Law passed away in 2014 at the age of 29 from cancer. It was such a blessing to my brother as he was left to provide for their two young children solely. Amazing organization.
Working with this organization since its beginning has been a life changing experience. From working events to the one on one interaction with families we've been fortunate enough to meet during holidays, it's truly special. I can not think of another charity that genuinely gives their all to those they help. There is no request to big or small that they will not give 110% to. They not only remind us how blessed and fortunate we are, but they also remind us that the greatest gift is giving. You make lifelong relationships directly with these families, and no other charity out there does that. They truly are a group of Angel's.
I cannot begin to express how fortunate we are to have come in contact with Angels of Hope. They have supported us in so many ways and we are forever grateful for their kind hearts. They are generous, humble, and never allow you to feel alone.
Myself and 3 others support Angels of Hope by hosting an annual golf outing for the organization. It’s extremely important to us that not only is this money going to an AMAZING local cause, but that 100% of the proceeds they receive from events like this, go directly to the affected families.
I am 34 year old battling breast cancer and have wonder husband and five beautiful kids. Angels of hope help our family out in so many different and we appreciate everything they done for us. I just finish my last chemo treatment February 6,2019 and waiting to get my scans done to further my treatments.
I've been involved with this organization for two years. This is a 100% volunteer foundation and an amazing group of people. Every person willingly gives their time and energy, because they truly care about the mission - ensuring no family fights cancer alone.
This is truly a group that puts their $ where there mouth is 100 % of the time they say they will help and they do every time without doubt i came to them in 2011 hopeless young and sick they have never left my side yet and never ever do they do not make u feel bad for needing the help they are litterally like family !!!! Angels of Hope has one mission - to ensure no Michigan family fights cancer alone. I could not be more proud to dedicate my time to this 100% volunteer organization, and I can't think of a better place to contribute to financially than to this organization where my full donation goes directly towards the cause.
I'm lucky enough to do photography for the angels for a couple of their events each year.
And at each event I'm amazed at the selfless dedication of the board members and the volunteers. The work they do literally changes people's lives for the better. I can think of no better organization to be affiliated with. God bless.
An amazing group and all they do...prayers and hugs sent
