I have been involved with non-profits for over 60 years and believe that the mission of AOEF is not only a solid one, but is achievable. The enthusiasm of the volunteers is palatable, which makes it easier for others to volunteer! I helped with a coloring book for their students in Africa and have been astounded at the speed in which goals have been met and far exceeded expectations. While they focus on children in Africa, every community in the United States as well as other countries can learn from AEOF ( and use the same coloring book to boost language arts, self-esteem and a sense of community).
