After losing my son at 38.4 weeks gestation, Star Legacy provided much needed support and education for me and my husband. The online support groups are easy to access and there is so much support available there. The peer support program is helpful in connecting people with other individuals who have had similar losses. One of my favorite parts of Star Legacy Foundation is their Stillbirth Summit where professionals and parents come together to hear the latest research from all over the world. This is helpful in advocating for change and educating other pregnant people. All of this will help decrease the number of babies that are stillborn. The literature that SLF offers on their website is also an amazing resource. It makes it easy for hospitals and other facilities and organizations to have access to resources for loss families in their communities.
