Day 1 Bags provides a gesture of love and caring to graduating youth aging out of the foster care system. These youth have overcome difficult odds and Day 1 rewards them with a care package that help remind them that we have not forgotten them, we are aware of their accomplishments and are looking forward to seeing more. Our youth leave with a feeling that strangers do care for them.

Day 1 recognizes that our youth deserve every opportunity to succeed and so these bags come with a variety of items to help youth get a good start in their academic career.
