Review for The Gay Christian Network, Raleigh, NC, USA
I've been a member of the community for over four years now. I did nto know what to expect. I've never posted much on any online community before and was expecting this one to be a disappointment. I couldnt' have been more wrong. I came to The Gay Christian Network a broken and hurting person. The people there immediately responded to me, befriended me, showed love and support, prayed when I asked, and gave me more encouragement than I had received elsewhere.
As a direct result, I have completely changed the way I think of myself. I'm a stronger more confident person.
More recently I've become more involved in leading one of the forums, one that allows me to volunteer and give back -supporting others where possible.

I was experiencing depression and disillusionment when I first joined. Through personal interaction and support, I started to think differently about myself. No one told me how I should think. They let me take my own journey giving prayer and encouragement as needed.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
update the layout of the website. It is tough to keep up with when a non-profit. The current site layout feels clunky.
