Siren School is a small K4-12 district in rural wisconsin. We serve a population that is 80% economically disadvantaged and 35% American Indian. The support we have received from the KWEK Society has been amazing. The student's attendance has improved as a result of having hygiene products available at no charge to them. I have also witnessed a de-stigmatization of menstruation and all of the related necessities. Our menstruating students have felt empowered to recognize that this is a normal, healthy and even sacred part of their lives. Chi-miigwech from Siren Schools!
