When I was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, it was a shock. I had a hard time coming to grips with the "C" word. I tried to be a "big girl", but when I learned that the medication I needed was going to be over $3,000 a month, I fell apart. I called my son and he assured me he'd find something. "We'll go to Canada or Mexico, if we have to, Mom, to get your medication." Fortunately, we did not have to do that. My son searched online and found PAN. I applied for a grant, and received co-pay assistance. Thanks to PAN, I have no monthly co-pay. PAN is truly a godsend! I am blessed to have found this organization (and to have a son who knew where to look.) Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
