I wanted to share with your team that I have received many gifts from your organization including the nice gifts at the last Christmas party. Your bag has been the best bag ever. I hold on to it like I do my memories. The gifts are more than a bandaid to my wounds. These very nice gifts remind me I deserve to be loved. Inside my head, I have memories of being loved, wanted. But my mom’s love for drugs is stronger than her love for me. We all care about what others think of us and want to be liked. People can be nice, be considerate, be a decent human being. However, there are also many smaller, more discreet things that matter to our self-esteem. Those things have a huge effect on how others perceive you.
