My Nonprofit Reviews

I donated to WWF on 5/13/2023. I researched a few other nonprofits and found the work they do to be most effective. I don't have a lot to as I think their reputation speaks for itself. But they send too much marketing content. Somewhat frustrating...

I hope this review gives insight.

My husband and I donated to MO on 8/27/2023 to support their efforts in neglected tropical diseases. We researched multiple nonprofits working on ntds and found the work being done by MO and DWB to be the most compelling as it was a comprehensive approach of innovation, detection, and long-term prevention.
The other thing we found to be compelling was MO’s commitment to putting as much money as possible into doing actual work. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a nonprofit that consciously decided not to spend money on social media and ads just so they can get more work done. Inspiring.
I hope this review helps anyone considering them for donation.

My husband and I donated to DWB on 8/11/2023 to support their emergency work. As always, we trust their work. The only complaint is that they spend too much on fundraising. Seeing some other nonprofits like CW and MO that have 100% policies, it becomes obvious how much of our donation goes to waste. But the need for fundraising is understandable.
