I volunteered at an interactive exhibit with CAPE and it was truly great to see the kids so excited to participate in making their own art. A moment that stuck out to me was one of the kids saying "this is my first time at a real art exhibit, I am so excited." Speaking with the teachers there is an obvious genuine and loving feel to CAPE events and all you need to do is look at any of the kids faces to see that there is important work being done at CAPE. Providing a space where children can not only create their own work but collaborate with their peers really provides a safe place for the children to grow creatively.
