My Nonprofit Reviews

AbhinavBhatia
Review for Centre for Civil Society, New Delhi, , India
I had the privilege of participating in the Jeevika project under the auspices of the Centre of Civil Society. This initiative is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by street vendors through the implementation of a specialized mobile application. My role as an on-field researcher involved engaging with street vendors, comprehending their concerns, and utilizing the Jeevika app to facilitate resolution.
Jeevika serves as a pivotal intervention for the street vendor community, providing an accessible and efficient platform for grievance redressal. The user-friendly interface of the application ensures widespread accessibility, fostering inclusivity. The collaborative ethos within the team, coupled with a genuine commitment to effecting positive change, is a hallmark of the project's success.
Participating in this endeavor instilled in me a sense of purpose, as the Jeevika app not only amplifies the voices of street vendors but also expedites solutions to their challenges, thereby contributing to an improved quality of life. The familial atmosphere within the Centre of Civil Society team underscores the collective dedication to the project's overarching objectives.
My association with Jeevika has been a fulfilling experience, as it transcends the mere functionality of an application, symbolizing a potent instrument for societal betterment. The project epitomizes a commitment to compassion, resilience, and transformative impact. I take pride in contributing to a team that is actively shaping positive change through the invaluable medium of Jeevika.
