Review for Nevada Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals, Las Vegas, NV, USA
When I first moved to Las Vegas twelve years ago, I knew I wanted to adopt a cat to complete my family. The first place I thought of was the NSPCA. I knew them by reputation only at that point. Long story short, I did adopt my 7 year old girl from the NSPCA. She had been abandoned (her owner moved from her apartment, leaving her behind). Had it not been for the NSPCA taking her in, she'd have ended up on the streets and probably dead. That didn't happen thanks to this fantastic organization. Instead, my husband and I adopted her, spoiled her like crazy and she lived out the rest of her life in complete comfort. Now I volunteer for them. On a regular basis I see how deeply they care about their animals and how hard they work. However over worked they are, I have never seen any staff or volunteers in a poor mood or any negativity. It's a joy filled place considering the mission they have - saving unwanted, neglected and forgotten animals. I recommend them to anyone who will listen. This city would be a worse place for the forgotten animals but for them.
