During my 80 years on Earth I've been exposed to and/or affiliated with my fair share of organizations, for-profit and non-profit alike. One stands head and shoulders above all the rest...Honor And Remember.

First and foremost because of its long-needed mission: "To Publicly Honor and Remember Every American Fallen Service Member and Recognize the Enduring Sacrifice of Every Family".

Second, because of the selfless dedication and passion of its volunteers to fulfill its mission.

Third, as a volunteer it provides me the opportunity to comfort family members of our Military Fallen Heroes by letting them know that the sacrifice of their loved ones and their own lifelong pain has not be forgotten...and in doing so ease the pain of having been ostracized by my country upon and for years after my return from Vietnam.
