Heart of Romania's Children Foundation has a very special place in my heart because of its quintessential role to reach out and help orphan children (even though its outreach extends beyond orphanages). The president of this foundation, Zamfira Pauna, is extremely dedicated and devoted to the cause of this organization and has made many sacrifices over the years in order to raise money and collect various goods to help children and others in dire need of basic necessities that many of us often take for granted. She touched many lives through this foundation; her devotion and willingness to keep the foundation running despite her health issues are to be admired. I pray that God grants her much strength and good health to keep this foundation going.
