Native Forward Scholars Fund was a beacon of light for me during my second try at my undergraduate degree. I had dropped out of college due to an unhealthy relationship which ended in a divorce. After my divorce, I felt inspired to return to higher education and complete the degree I set out for. Native Forward was a great resource when it came to advisement and funding opportunities. I will be forever grateful to the staff who uplifted and empowered me during my academic journey through this tough time. I am proud to say that I am doing very well throughout my pursuit of higher education and know where to go when I need a shoulder to lean on. I recommend Native Forward as an amazing resource for all Natives who want to pursue higher education.
