Ever since Pen rescued our Afghan Princess called Fubar, from Afghanistan, (as one of the first dogs,) I have been in touch with him and could play a part in helping to bring a couple of more dogs to the Netherlands, where they are still happily spending their last years in loved safety. I then met a young Ukrainian woman who was in tears everytime she thought of all those poor bewildered and not understanding animals which had to be left by their fleeing owners, themselves as sad as the dogs. Emails and phonecalls to our own friends and relatives here, followed by some mails to Pen, David, Wendy and others at Nowzad's, , and, my Ukrainian friends shed more tears, this time from gratitude following the reports and picures she received from shelters in Dnipro and elsewhere in the country. Nowzad makes an enormous difference to both humans and animals!!!!!!! Dorothy, the Netherlands
