As a teacher of 44 years, I have been very fortunate to have come across this nonprofit and given the opportunity to be part of this great organization. In the past, it was very frustrating to hear about events and know that our students could not participate due to funding. Thru Tickets for Kids our students were able to participate in the trip the Boundary Waters. This trip meant so much to these newcomers to the country. They experienced something they never imagined.
All the other trips have been amazing as well. Students are able to go to sports events(they otherwise could not afford), opera, musical events, and other shows. A huge shout out to all those sponsors who make these dreams possible for our students.
