I discovered Corazón de Vida through a good friend who took me to an orphanage that the organization faithfully supports in Tijuana. After engaging with the children and the staff at one of the 11 orphanages that CDV sponsors, I felt compelled to learn more. Upon meeting CDV's Founder and Executive Director, Hilda Pacheco-Taylor, and discovering that she grew up in an orphanage herself, I was fully invested. Having worked and consulted with many grassroots nonprofit organizations over the last 25 years, CDV stands out to me as one that consistently lives within their mission and values, practicing every aspect of the organization with utmost integrity. This organization is truly changing lives on a daily basis, and I am honored to be a part of it.
