I have always loved animals, but Animal Place helped me understand how humans have related to their non-human counterparts over the millennia, which changed my perspective on how we use them. Each visit to AP includes valuable education about farmed animals, like dairy cows, pigs and chickens, that we don't normally get exposed to.
Then there's the highlight of getting to hang out with some of the animals directly, and seeing what cute, sweet characters they have! The cows are so gentle, and the turkeys are loving and cuddly! This is a truly wonderful and worthwhile experience for anyone!
