NY Environcom and the Deer Park Rural Alliance provide essential oversight of the area’s environment through several activities. They endeavor to ensure that local elected and appointed officials uphold their environmental stewardship responsibilities by keeping local citizens apprised of issues, and encouraging their involvement at various town board meetings. This is in addition to their work with water quality monitoring and wetlands mapping. They passionately strive to protect the region’s endangered habitats and species.
