My husband and I became regular 'build' volunteers in 2016 and love it! We have enjoyed learning about Habitat's mission and vision, working with staff and volunteers, and working alongside the families. We became crew leaders in a very short time and my knowledge of 'builds' increased 10-fold.

Personally, I have learned so much about everything from 'bricks and mortar' to the family selection process and their promise and commitment to put in required 'sweat equity'. The people that are involved in Habitat, from the staff through volunteers and families are incredibly committed to a great cause.
