Asian Children's Mission is a small faith-based non-profit serving in Myanmar for 15 years. It is hard to express how grateful we are for our partnership with IDES over these years. Their amazingly quick response to natural disasters, that happen regularly in the country, the emergency food relief for the communities surrounding our various ministries, the involvement in sustainable projects assuring a better future, and the funds given for IDP camps to help build a new beginning, are all part of the partnership we have built with IDES. At the present time, we are involved in a grant from their Harvest of Talents program that is allowing our orphans, special needs students, and remote school children to have the needed protein to grow and develop.
As an organization they have strict rules for accountability, a biblical principle that we both share. Reports are due soon after money is spent and project is completed and our staff in country are fully aware of this and very good at sending the necessary information and pictures needed to complete reports.
It is a true blessing to work along side a faith based nonprofit that is truly called by God to help and love a hurting world.
