I was part of a group from the organization that created Break Bread 7 years ago. This is my second time on the Break Bread Board. I volunteered in the kitchen for 2 or 3 years until I messed up the Thanksgiving gravy. What a joy to carry out a warm meal to several people who are talking and enjoying some fellowship and good company. I am grateful that we can help our neighbors in this way. We make contacts with businesses and other non-profit organizations in our community and we all come together to provide nutrition and kindness to many, many people. We feed people who deserve kindness and grace. I am convinced that our efforts help build a stronger community.
