CVIM once had 10 stars when Dr. Mary Brennan Wirshup was the medical director. Since her passing in 2022, this clinic has changed.

They lost of lot of great staff and volunteers since Dr. Wirshup's passing and it WAS BECAUSE of her passing that they left.

Patients are now being treated less than thinking, intelligent human beings.

The new dictator makes her appearance to patients when she want to dictate that they not come into the office until 15 minutes before the scheduled time, no matter how far they drive. And will reprimand you if you are late. If you are a no show twice, you are denied much needed medication and medical assistance for 4 months. This is egregious, because things do happen in life that are not in everyone's control.

When one patient asked to have enough medication refilled so that they would all be refillable at the same time she was denied; making this a great hardship.

Patients have been told that they can receive a medication, promised that a written prescription will mailed to them if they cannot get into the office or that the prescription will be ready for pickup, but NOT called when the mediation is rescinded for renewal. When they ask about this they are demonized for creating a disturbance.

This is not a welcoming healthcare clinic and Dr. Wirshup is not being honored in this manner.
