I have worked in partnership with Eastie Farm to address food insecurity in East Boston since 2020. I have been continually impressed and inspired by their transformative, grassroots, community-centered approach. From training local youth for climate-friendly jobs and supporting neighbors with culturally-relevant, locally grown foods to building the region's first geothermal greenhouse, Eastie Farm is engaged in truly revolutionary food justice work. Their staff are passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to challenging the status quo, advocating tirelessly on behalf of underserved and marginalized East Boston residents while uplifting this vibrant community. This is a gem of an organization and one to watch -- they are making a tremendous, positive impact in East Boston and have exciting plans for the future. I am proud to stand alongside and wholeheartedly recommend Eastie Farm!
