We adopted both of our dogs from Jellystone Barks Rescue Rangers, about 5 years apart. Our most recent rescue, a Pooton, was a puppy mill discard who came to us terrified of humans. Within the first 48 hours of love and patience, he was asking to snuggle with us and communicating with us about when he wanted to be let outside. It is so rewarding to watch the changes in him now that he has been in our home for about a month. I attribute his smooth transition to the work Kim and her volunteer fosters have done. We were guided every step of the way on how to work with our new pup’s needs.
