I've been volunteering for our local non profit for about a year .
Am part of the "truck crew "

We pick up gently used tables/chairs sofas, beds, cribs etc from local homeowners

They are inspected, cleaned , minor repairs and then - less fortunate families -also in our neighborhood come to our warehouse and pick out what they need

Sharing Connections is a grass roots charity in our community - started out about 40 years ago
It has about 100 volunteers

It's mission statement is - "Tonight everyone sleeps in a bed and eats at a table "

They simply are a wonderful local charity - almost 100% volunteer!
