I went in for the first time just to visit, I wasn’t sure yet when I would get a cat. Having gone several times I met lots of different volunteers and decided that would be a good place for me to make a difference in my community (and pet cute cats). On the day of my orientation I met Orion (previously Handy). I fell in love right away, I could tell he really wanted his own human to purr at. Within a week or so I did a 1:1 meeting with him and chatted with the volunteers before placing the application. It was an easy process and everyone was so knowledgeable along the way.
