I am proud to have worked for and with Center for Trauma Counseling for many years. The agency's full focus is to ensure EVERY resident in Palm Beach County (PBC) can access and receive quality, trauma-focused, mental health care services regardless of age, race, ethnicity, insurance coverage or the ability to pay. You simply will not find another agency with a more dedicated and passionate leader than Helya Ortiz! Helya decided over a decade ago that NO ONE in PBC should suffer from lack of access to care, and since then, has dismantled nearly every barrier that stands in the way! Her Mobile Hope Clinic (MHC) is the greatest tangible example of her determination to ensure every resident gets the care they need. Everyone at CTC truly cares about the well being of each client and all go above and beyond everyday to improve their client's lives by helping them improve their mental health. When every member of our community (adults, seniors, and children) can access care and improve their mental wellness, our families are stronger and the entire community is a better, safer, more vibrant place to live. Helya understands this, and has made it her life's mission to make it happen for ALL residents of PBC!
