The Berkshires region is well known for the cultural acivities available to its residents and the thousands of tourists who come to partake, from Classical music at Tanglewood, ballet at Jacobs Pillow, live theater in Stockbridge, Pittsfield, and Williamstown, and excellent facilities such as the Clark Art Museum and Norman Rockwell Museum. Shakespeare & Company is a vital part of that cultural realm. They are located in a large campus in Lenox, on which hopefully someday their fantastic plan to build a replica of a Shakespearean theater will be realized. Shakespeare & Company in Lenox is well known in the Northeast as being a place to see some of the best Shakespearean shows in the region, as well as in the country. Along with yearly Shakespeare plays they put on several other plays and activities for those that may not appreciate the works of the Bard. I am fortunate that in being a resident I am able to take the opportunity several times a year to attend the Company's work. I am proud to declare that I have been a donor for several years, and will continue to be.
