I first discovered Rosemary Farm on Facebook about 10 years ago. I admired the work that they did, rescuing horses and other equines who had nowhere else to go and allowing them to “just be horses” in many cases, instead of serving humans again. As a horse-obsessed little girl who grew up and never got to have a horse of her own, I decided to do the next best thing and become a monthly donor so I could contribute to the ongoing care and expenses of the horses and equines who live there. Some day, I hope to visit the farm and meet the horses I’ve been supporting.

The director is very open and honest about her rationale for running the sanctuary the way that she does. When she does seek additional funds for expansion or improvement of the existing facilities, I know that the plans are well-thought-out and not frivolous. I’m very happy with my investment and would suggest it to any other horse lovers and/or animal lovers.
