Afrikin is a place that gave me space to collaborate with community, that allows me to speak outwardly about diaspora conversations as well as what it means to share my art with community from curating to exhibitions and music festivals they created a space for panel discussions and academia to exist with entertainment. But there can be a space for community to discuss African issues and cultural expansion as well as welcome those in to community so they can receive new knowledge. What does it mean to create exhibitions, artwork, musical engagements that allow community to feel like they are also seeing and that they are also apart of what it is that's happening on stage. They bring community together continuously bridging the Gap between the academic and entertainment.
