My experience with Heartbeat goes back just a few years, but our connection has proved invaluable. I've now participated in their training, both online and in person, and have gained so much knowledge and information about the resources that are available. In particular, I took the New Director training track at Columbus and was blown away at the data presented over the course of a week. I also had the privilege to meet other directors and formed many lasting connections. I still receive weekly and monthly emails with many articles relevant to our work here. Because of those articles, I'm able to stay up to date on legal changes in our line of work, as well as stay encouraged by uplifting stories.

My experience with Care Net goes back five years, to when I started the Care Net training as a volunteer at my local pregnancy center. The training was in depth, but relatable and made me feel very comfortable as I began to work with clients. Since then I came on staff and learned more about the resources that are available through Care Net, including legal advice, board training, fundraising advice and help with marketing. I am now the director of our center and use Care Net's resources weekly. Their staff are welcoming and helpful and pray with me with every conversation.
